This is Patty, Owner of Checa Chic Boutique in Santa Monica and I’m so proud to call her my cousin. Growing up along her side made my life a happier place, she filled it with tons of laughs. We were glued to one another since birth! Growing up we did everything together, if she wasn’t by my side it just wasn’t the same so I always had to have her around, she was definitely my shadow and the “life of the party”. She’s funny, very, very funny, she’s the comedic one, the one who always makes us all laugh. Speaking of “Laugh” OMG, Patty has a very unique laugh, you can hear it a mile away and people laugh just hearing her laugh! In High School, Patty was pretty popular, she was the homecoming queen and one of the best dancers on “Songs.” If there was one thing she knew how to do extrodarinarly well to this day is DANCE, Patty loves, loves, loves to dance. I always watched her with such admiration and wished I could dance just like her, she was always the center of attention at parties when she would boogie!
Today Patty owns an adorable clothing boutique in Santa Monica (Checa Chic Boutique) and I’m beyond proud of her accomplishment. She’s the mother of two gorgeous children and she’s such a hard worker, VERY HARD WORKER and is always on the go! She always said she wanted to be her own boss, she just absolutely despised being told what to do and now SHE IS –THE BOSS, her own boss and the boss to others on her team. It all makes sense now, growing up she was definitely pretty bossy and to this day she’s still trying to tell me what to do, I love it, we laugh so much about it. It’s just in her to delegate and that’s how she rolls, she da boss lady! Can you believe when I did this session for her she was trying to tell me how to shoot it. I had to shut her up and remind her she was in my studio and I’m “the boss” here :)
I love you “cousin” I love you like a sister, and I could never imagine my life without you in it!
