I’ve been dreading this day the entire Summer! Julian has been protesting going to school for the last two years. I signed him up for pre-school and it never went over well, it was always a crying fest for both of us! so pre-school for him never lasted more than 2 weeks. This morning he woke up crying, I mean really crying. My husband bribed him with two words ”Toys R Us” and his frown and tears turned into a smile. When we arrived to his class, the teacher greeted him with a hug and a smile. He was happy, he sat down, made friends with a boy sitting next to him, and he gave us the thumbs up and smiled as we walked away. Thank you, thank you God for not putting me through another crying fest! When I went to pick him up, his teacher showed me a handful of photos she took of him throughout the day, he was laughing, smiling, playing in all of them! — I’m one happy, proud mamma!
Before taking these photos, as always, he broke down the rules, “mom for this photo shoot, you get 5 minutes, 5 pictures, because you know I’m 5 years old now…” Uggh, I hate feeling rushed, the pressure is too much for me!
After every click he asked “mom are you done now.” Thankfully we didn’t have to go too far to take these, just out in the front yard of our house. I posted a lot of silly one’s because this is who he is right now, he loves to make silly faces at the camera and I don’t ever want to forget this about him.
By the way, he didn’t really wear this to school! But I did post a photo below from today.

Day two, Thursday morning!
