Gaby’s eyes make me melt! Although I only got a few pics of her smiling (I swear I did, but couldn’t post those because it’s a surprise for family…) she’s still so precious even when she’s not smiling. Those, cheeks, those eyes, and oh how i love all those darling rolls! She is sooooo loved by mommy and daddy and it’s clear that she is their world!

Today my amazing mamma turned 60! Yes, can you believe this beautiful woman is 60! Please God, may I look as fabulous as my mother at 60! What can I say about my lovely mother that I haven’t already said in prior posts. She’s still the amazing mother she has always been, she’s my “Wonder Woman!” Now that I’m a mother of 3, I have the fondest admiration for her knowing what I know now as an adult, the challenges of life and everything that comes with it, raising children, being a wife a mother, working….. Let’s just say my mother basically raised my 3 siblings and I on her own and she didn’t have it easy AT ALL, and she’s been through A LOT of tough times….. I can’t imagine how she did this all on her own, but while she struggled through it, she always kept a smile on her face and didn’t let anything get in the way of giving us an amazing childhood full of happy memories. This is me just blows my mind! Only a strong woman could do this and survive through obstacles with a smile –she is a true survivor. As a child her compassionate heart, love, her warm smile and her strong affectionate ways with my siblings and I have made us all who we are today and this helped us keep our spirits alive while we watched her struggle as kids.

Aside of being an amazing mother, my children are so lucky to have an amazing Grandmother. Every Monday she comes to my house and cooks the most delicious meals for my family, she prepares 3 days worth of food, folds all my laundry and helps me with whatever I need. My kids adore her, she’s the type of Grandmother that plays “duck , duck goose” runs around the house with them, plays “tag” and plays wrestling with my son. She swings my little one on the swing for hours and has the utmost patience with them –she’s truly an incredible Grandmother.

Her energy is contagious, she’s like the “Energizer Bunny” she loves her life, loves good food, she’s an amazing cook, loves people, loves to talk, loves flowers, she loves to laugh and when she does she laughs so hard she cries, she loves to smile, she LOVES, LOVES to dance –she says dancing is her therapy, if you invite her to your party she will be the first one on the dance floor and the last one off! oh! and she loves “Pitt Bull”

I came across this post below, I absolutely love it because it’s SO TRUE! and every time I read it it brings me to FULL BLOWN uncontrollable tears (yes, I’m a cry baby, a big one, I’m a very emotional person)! I need my mother in my life more than ever right now and I’m so thankful everyday that she’s there for me when I need her. I can’t ever imagine my world without her, she is my everything to me and more!

At 3 yrs “Mommy, I love you”

At 10, “Mom whatever”

At 16, “My Mom is so annoying”

At 18, “I wanna leave this house”

At 25,”Mom, you were right”

At 30, “I wanna go to Mom’s house” “I need you mom” “Can you help me with the kids” “the baby is sick, what do I do, help”

At 50, “I don’t wanna lose my Mom”

At 70, “I would give up EVERYTHING for my Mom to be here with me”.

You only have ONE Mom, tell her how much you love her and most of all PLEASE, I beg you take the time to take a wonderful photo with your mother, one you could hold near and dear to your heart and treasure forever.

I love you Mamma, so, so , so much, Happy Birthday to you and many, many more to come! Te ADORO Mami!

The Flowers family was MY perfect client! YES, seriously they were perfect! Alyssa and Corinne did everything I asked on command, and with kids that pretty much never happens. I was in photography heaven with this session, I didn’t want it to end. There was so much family love here, I especially had fun capturing all their playful moments.

Alejandro – Splish Splash!

It took almost an hour for us to get Alejandro to sit in the tub, but once he did he had a blast! I think he had the most fun throwing the rubber duckies straight at me
